I’m Still Here And Have Rediscovered Formica

I’m still here and witchin’ my way through life. Hope you are too. :)
We’re in the middle of moving to a new home. I never thought we’d leave the old home place, but the ‘Verse tipped, we went with the flow, and landed in the place we need to be next. I’m not exaggerating about that. The energetic flow that lead us to this place was strong and positive. We hadn’t even been looking for a new place, and plop, here we are.
The new place is a small ranch house built in the 50’s in Buchanan, Michigan. Right now I’m taking a break from tearing out carpeting and trying to remove latex paint from Formica Window sills. The Formica is white with stars and little flecks of gold, very 50’s looking, and I love it. Maybe I watched too many episodes of Bewitched when I was a kid, or maybe I have awful taste, but there is something very soothing about Formica. It’s slick and as smooth as the day it was installed 60 years ago. This stuff was made to last.
The Ranch style is very easy on – ahem – we older middle aged people because everything’s on one level and the garage is attached. And, praise be to the Goddess, the lawn is flat! The lawn we’ve been trying to mow for the last twenty years was “scenic” to put it kindly, and damned hard to mow to be truthful.
That’s all for now, it’s getting late and I need to start packing up. Oh, and I think we have a ghost, but more about that later.
